Lord Daniel Finkelstein OBE joins speakers from Government agencies and departments outlining changing procurement practices, expectations, and the potential impacts on the mineral products supply chain.
Facilitator
The morning business conference sessions will be facilitated by Samantha Simmonds, a journalist and broadcaster with more than 20 years at the forefront of the news, most recently presenting on BBC News.

Networking is a key feature of this year’s special event with a sit-down lunch in the magnificent Assembly Hall of Church House and several opportunities to meet with colleagues throughout the day.

The minerals industry is one of Britain’s largest manufacturing sectors with a turnover of £16 billion which makes the sector the nation’s biggest materials producer – around 400 million tonnes each year.
About the Mineral Products Association
MPA is the industry trade association for the aggregates, asphalt, cement, concrete, dimension stone, lime, mortar and silica sand industries. With the merger of British Precast, and affiliation of the British Association of Reinforcement (BAR), Eurobitume, MPA Northern Ireland, MPA Scotland and the British Calcium Carbonate Federation, it has a growing membership of 520 companies and is the sectoral voice for mineral products.
